Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the terms and supplies its results. We do not keep or record those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
We retain an email or contact message as needed to respond. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, servers may automatically receive routine visit details:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved on a device. They and analytics services help measure traffic, popular pages, and general use patterns in aggregate. Browser controls can block cookies, although disabling them may affect how some features behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Roberts County Court Docket does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of case records or dockets. It provides general directions to the combined County/District Clerk, trial courts, and limited Texas search systems. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party case profiles. Access to Texas judicial records is governed by applicable court rules and laws, including Texas Rule of Judicial Administration 12; Government Code §552.0035 distinguishes judiciary information from the ordinary Texas Public Information Act process.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices rather than this policy. Review those terms before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Roberts County offices, Texas court resources, legal-aid organizations, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy controls. Read it before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to track activity across websites for targeted advertising. That activity occurs under their systems and policies.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Data may still be disclosed to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect collected information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so we cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
This service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor supplied such data, we will take steps to remove it.
Your Data Rights
Rights concerning personal information depend on the law that applies to the requester and the data. You may ask to exercise the following rights where the governing law provides them:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
